What it can feel like
Waves of sadness that arrive without warning
Feeling numb or far away
Guilt, anger or relief, sometimes all at once
Pressure to be “over it” by now
How we might work on it
There’s no right way or set timeline for grief. Sessions are a place to say what you can’t say elsewhere.
We can talk about the person or the loss, about hard days like anniversaries, and about how life is changing around you.
Some people want to talk about the person they’ve lost. Others need space for anger, guilt or relief. All of it belongs here.
We go at your pace and come back to the hardest parts only when you’re ready.
Therapy doesn’t promise a set outcome or timeline. We’ll check in regularly on how it’s going.
Approaches I draw on
Person-centered therapy, meaning-centered approaches
