Who I help
Anxiety and worry
When your mind won’t switch off and everyday things feel harder than they should.

What it can feel like
Lying awake running through what could go wrong
Avoiding things you used to manage
A tight chest or racing thoughts before ordinary tasks
Feeling on edge without knowing why
How we might work on it
We start by getting to know your worry: when it shows up, what it tells you and what it stops you doing.
Over time we look for small, manageable changes, and you leave each session with something to try if you’d like to.
Some sessions are about understanding where the worry comes from. Others are practical, like planning for a situation you’ve been avoiding.
We go at a pace that feels manageable and check in regularly on what’s helping.
Therapy doesn’t promise a set outcome or timeline. We’ll check in regularly on how it’s going.
Approaches I draw on
Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based approaches
